Let your family make some noise this summer! Turner Sims presents Jazz it up!, a fun day for all the family packed with free music and activities. Part of a host of Cultural Olympiad events showcasing the arts on the University of Southampton’s Highfield campus, enjoy performances from jazz collective Tomorrow's Warriors including bassist Gary Crosby, trumpeter Abram Wilson and saxophonist Denys Baptiste, as well as local big band Southampton Youth Jazz Orchestra.

 

With wandering musicians, participatory events and plenty of activities to keep little hands busy, enjoy a relaxed, fun-filled day of great live music.

The season is packed with great jazz, classical, folk and world music, along with talks and exhibitions.  

General Booking opens on Monday 20 July at 10am.

Annual membership costs £30 (£25 each for two Friends at the same address, £12 students, free to under 16s). Friends Priority booking for Autumn Season 2009 opens on Monday 6 July at 10am.
